The Race
The original Fat Bike and Cornhole Biathlon is on!
Ride 2 laps of the new and improved, well-groomed Shannon Lake Trail as fast as you can! Then see if you can improve your time with the cornhole toss - every hit improves your time. What a way to level the playing field! Better practice your cornhole!
The event runs from 8 AM to 4 PM. Racing takes place 10 AM to 2:30 PM with a mass start. Racers can choose from a 11 mile Short Race, or a 21 mi long race.
The race will also feature refreshments, snacks, campfires and camaraderie with fellow fat bikers, family and friends.
In the interest of keeping people socially distanced, please register online prior to race day. While we can accept a couple of stragglers, the administration tent gets crowded fast.
Day of Event:
- 8:00-9:30 Onsite check in.
- 10:00 a.m. - 21 mile Long Race starts.
- 10:15 a.m. - 11 mile Short Race starts.
Presented by, and as a fundraiser, for LAMBO. All proceeds support trail building and maintenance in the Lakeland Area.
