Mus Ski Mountian

At the December board meeting, members voted to accept the trail building proposal presented by Travis Bellman of Travis Bellman Trail and Home to begin work at the Mus-Ski Mountain site.

Work on the 3-mile beginner/intermediate loop, similar to Fern Ridge, could begin as early as late next summer.

LAMBO has been working with state DNR officials for permission to create 15 miles of trails at the site of a once state owned ski hill. Located off of highway N near Sayner, Mus-Ski mountain offers spectacular terrain for mountain biking.  The club is excited to begin work on this project that promises to complement the other LAMBO biking destinations as well as enhancing mountain biking in the northwoods in general.

Other highlights of the December meeting included a successful Giving Tuesday Facebook campaign as well as updates on all the trails.  A focus on winter grooming and grooming equipment and discussion on upcoming LAMBO events was also part of the discussion.
