LAMBO's Bike Patrol, a branch of the National Ski Patrol, has been serving the community for over 2 years and we are so very grateful. Led by Mary Dunphy, Division Bike Program Supervisor, we have several certified Outdoor First Care hosts and Outdoor Emergency Care patrollers. These individuals are trained to support immediate care needs out on trails and work closely with EMS to assist anyone in need of care. Bike Patrol trains regularly and with the help of NSP patrollers from local ski hills and bike trail systems, gets new members certified.
You can see Mary Dunphy patrolling at the Zip trails regularly. And with Joe, Ty, Taylor, Kyle, and several other patrollers, they are ready to assist at local races and events like the Dirty Squirrel Gravel Grinder at Minocqua Winter Park, a recent Youth MTB clinic and the Zip, events at WinMan, LAMBO events such as the InSayner and the Fatathlon, and more.
