LAMBO Receives $7000 Grant from Let's Minocqua

Let's Minocqua continues to be a great supporter of LAMBO and we are all very grateful. A grant in 2021 allowed us to promote our new events to a broader audience and design, print and distribute our trail maps.

The grant for 2022 will continue to help us promote all of our trail systems, races, events, clinics, group rides and road trips. We are reaching out to bike organizations and bike stores throughout the Midwest, building our our social media following, expanding our mailing list, creating more signage and promotional materials and more. This is all in an effort to spread the word about the amazing trail systems available here and bring more folks to the area to support local businesses.

"Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization: $7000 Award

The Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization (LAMBO) saw success last year after a direct mail marketing campaign to biking enthusiasts and digital media expansion. This year they are hoping a direct mail campaign to state-wide bike shops will keep that ball rolling. Along with the direct marketing campaign, the funding will support print and map distribution, online advertising, and print advertising.  They have been hard at work accomplishing their mission since the 90’s: Creating a healthier community through public use, silent sport trail development, and education. We are excited to see the continued evolution of this growing sport in our area."
