It is time for our Summer Membership Drive! Our goal this summer is 23 New (or new again!) LAMBO Members for Summer of 2023! Please consider becoming a Member of LAMBO by signing up for our annual membership. Memberships start at just $35 a year for an individual and $50 a year for family.

Why are LAMBO Members so important? We have awesome volunteers and supporters who donate time, money and services throughout the year and we are exceedingly grateful. But we also need LAMBO Members - folks who are willing to financially support LAMBO with an annually renewing membership. Why is this important? Because trail building, grooming and maintenance is expensive. Did you know a mile of really great flow trail can cost up to $50,000 to build? We raise this money through events, donors, grants and support from the community and are grateful for this type of support. But we also really need new and renewing Members - renewing Membership fees go toward operating costs to keep our trails open, in good shape and with perks: tools and maintenance equipment, winter grooming, signage, porta-potty rental, and more.  And our LAMBO Members help advocate our organization and mission and encourage friends and family to get out and ride and support LAMBO.

Every dollar counts and every Member is critical to our ongoing success. We really couldn't do it without you.

Support our 23 in '23 Membership Drive - Join LAMBO as an annually renewing member.

We have 2000+ followers and newsletter subscribers, but only 1 in 20 are LAMBO Members. If just 1 in 100 join and encourage a friend to do the same, we'll hit our goal in no time and you'll get listed in our next newsletter as one of our awesome new Members!

Okay, now on to regular news and updates...

Meeting Minutes are available on our website. Please join us at our next meeting, Wednesday, August 9th at 6 pm at the Zip trailhead.  See other events on our website (along with trail information, meeting minutes) and on Facebook.

New News:

  • Our volunteers clocked an incredible 531 volunteer hours in June! Thank you to all who helped with the InSayner, worked on trails, and did all that other stuff that's gotta happen to make trails appear.

  • Also in August we'll be doing a test run of our Summer event replacement for the Rip, Zip and Sip (still part of the Ravens Series).
  • Have you ever hosted a Haunted House or gone way overboard with your Halloween decorations and are kind of over it now? If you're looking to donate crazy big Halloween decorations, please email us - they could become part of LAMBOO Haunted Trails this year? Crafty? If you make it, we'll take it and add it to the spooky selections. Email us for info

Trail Updates:

  • ALL TRAILS ARE OPEN! Get out there and ride.
  • We have a Thursday Night Ride Social at the Zip, 6 pm. A bunch of us will be out riding the Zip trails and then hanging out around the campfire after. If you're new to the trail system this is a great time to get introduced. Message us on Facebook and we'll be sure to have someone connect with you and show you around. On every 3rd Thursday we'll be visiting other trail systems. For 7/20 we plan to check out a RASTA trail - Washburn at the Perch Lake Shelter.
  • There is an awesome new feature at the Zip - a huge rollover on Double-Barrel. Check it out on YouTube.
  • We've had volunteers doing some great work at the Raven. Be sure to check out that trail as well and say 'hey' and 'thanks' if you see them out there working.
