Fundraising efforts by LAMBO volunteers in 2020 raised $5000 toward the $25,000 needed for the pump track. This was graciously matched by the Damon family last December. This month another community member, who has chosen to remain anonymous at this time, has stepped forward to offer a matching campaign. If LAMBO can raise $5000 in donations from the community by May 1, 2021, this donor will match up to that amount. This would bring LAMBO even closer to the 25K needed for materials, equipment and build hours.

More fundraising events are in the works, including the Frank the Tank’s Hill Challenge on Saturday, April 10th. This requires participants to find sponsors to donate money for each lap they are able to complete within 2 hours. Each lap rolls down the Blue Ox berms at the Zip Trail and then demands a tough climb up Frank the Tank’s Hill back to the top. Winners earn money towards the pump track, and more importantly, bragging rights for a year. This is a member’s only event and intended also as a membership drive. Membership to LAMBO is open to all and start at $35 per year, with all funds supporting LAMBO trails, community outreach and events.
