Trained help on the trail
LAMBO's Bike Patrol is a branch of the National Ski Patrol, the first NSP bike patrol in Wisconsin. Certified Outdoor First Care hosts and Outdoor Emergency Care patrollers ride our trails and work our events, ready to give immediate care and coordinate with EMS.
Ty Krajewski, Kyle Stubblefield, Joe Hrudkaj and Mary Dunphy present the National Outstanding Bike Patrol Award to LAMBO president Perry Smith.
The patrol has been serving the community since 2021, led by Mary Dunphy, Division Bike Program Supervisor. Patrollers train regularly, and with help from NSP patrollers at local ski hills and trail systems, new members get certified every year. You'll find the patrol at the Zip Trail and at every LAMBO event.
Become a patroller
The National Ski Patrol has over 30,000 members, and LAMBO's bike host and patrol unit is part of it. NSP certifies LAMBO patrollers through courses held throughout the year, a mix of online and in-person work. You don't need to be a fast rider. You need to care about the people on the trail.
