Woodruff, WI - [2/12/2024] - Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience as mountain biking enthusiasts gear up for the inaugural Rock the Raven Mountain Bike Race on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Hosted by the Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization (LAMBO) at the iconic Raven Trail in Woodruff, Wisconsin, this thrilling event promises a challenging and unforgettable ride through diverse terrains, blending technical single-track, cross-country ski trails and even a short section of paved trails.
Participants can choose between two exciting races that cater to different skill levels and preferences:

1. 1-Lap Seven Mile Race: Perfect for riders looking for a moderate challenge and a taste of the Raven Trail’s legendary features.
2. 2-Lap Fourteen Mile Race: A double dose of exhilaration for the more seasoned bikers, covering the full spectrum of the Raven Trail’s dynamic landscape.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Rock the Raven, an event that celebrates the spirit of mountain biking and the Raven Trail’s rugged beauty. It is one of my favorite trails, and I think the racers will agree! ” said race director Frank Coffen.

“This race is not just about speed; it’s about conquering the diverse terrains that the Raven Trail has to offer. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a newcomer to the sport, Rock the Raven has something for everyone,” said Dan Trapp, assistant to the Race Director.

The Raven Trail, renowned for technical routes, fast and twisty sections, and breathtaking scenery, provides the perfect backdrop for this exhilarating event. Racers will navigate through a course designed to showcase the unique characteristics of the trail, creating an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike.
