Expansion Info

Help LAMBO Improve mountain biking - for all riders.

Build more trail  LAMBO believes that the Lakeland Area can and should be a mountain biking destination. To this end, LAMBO would like to add at least five miles to the Zip Line trail. LAMBO is hoping to raise $6,000 to get started.

Improve Accessibility Moving the trailhead to the tree line south of the zip tower would allow LAMBO to:

  1. construct an aesthetically appealing trail head. This would also be an ideal location for a kiosk to display notices, rules, maps, and announcements.
  2. Route bikers away from the road and sandy washout near the bottom of the current access route.

Maintenance Your support will also help with fuel costs and associated trail grooming and maintenance expenses.

LAMBO also desires to build a 12’x20’ drive-through equipment shed. The snowmobile and groomer, as well as trail maintenance equipment, would be stored here.

Formal gathering/meeting area LAMBO has been growing. 12-24 people regularly attend group rides! LAMBO also has been having success with events at the Northwoods Zip Line Trails and LAMBO would prefer to run them closer to the trail head.
