Raven Trail
Where LAMBO started. Seven miles of twisty, technical, hand-built singletrack and a skills course.

Open and good to ride. We don't groom Raven; fat biking is possible on the snowshoe trails. Please stay off groomed ski trails. LAMBO · May 2, 2026 (May 2)
All conditions →The Raven was LAMBO’s first project and occupies a special place in our hearts. Located in Woodruff, next to Clear Lake Campground in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest, it has about seven miles of twisty, technical, hand-built trail. Members have built, re-routed, improved, and continue to maintain one of Northern Wisconsin’s best mountain biking trail networks. Much of it was built the IMBA way after the Trail Care Crew came to teach us in the late 2000s.
Skills course
In cooperation with the State Forest, LAMBO designed, built and installed a skills course in 2009: log rides, bridges, teeter-totters, rock gardens, and an all-around fun place to ride and improve.
Fat biking
The Raven is open to fat biking year round. We don’t groom the Raven. In winter, especially when the ski trails are set, stick to the snowshoe trails and stay off the groomed ski track.
Multi-use trail
Please look out for and respect other users. The Raven also has trails for hikers and runners, and there is a paved recreation trail you’ll sometimes cross. In winter there are skiers, snowshoers and hikers too.
